CASC Branding and Social
Concord Academy Summer Camp is where I spent my summers coaching tennis while in high school. As I discovered graphic design in college, I started working with the CASC director, Greg, to grow their presence on social media. I’ve been working with Greg and his team now for the past 5 years to develop a refreshed brochure each year, social posts, coloring books, holiday cards, and on the creation of “Campy” who has become a symbol of CASC.
Campy Social Posts
Campy, in these images, shows prospective parents the types of activities at camp and allows them to imagine their kid in his place. The post copy included with these images tells the tales of Campy’s great time he’s having at camp and information about the activity. These posts ran weekly, even throughout the off-season, to remind parents/kids of all the fun activities that camp offers!
Brochure Design
I’ve done three brochures over the past few years, each based on the redesign that I had done in 2018. The great thing about these brochures is that none of the imagery used is from a stock site. Many of these campers grew up taking tennis lessons from me - so this project tends to be particularly meaningful to me.
Coloring Book
Because of the pandemic, Camp was canceled for the summer. As a fun way to remind families of CASC, we created a winter coloring book that includes other fun winter activities with campy!
Specialty Camp Shirt Design
These shirts were designed for specialty camps that kids can sign up for if they have special interests in topics. Campers receive shirts at the end of their first week, so it was important to create specialty camp versions.
Coloring Pages
These coloring pages were based on the week’s theme at camp. Each week, there is special activity on Wednesdays and Fridays related to the theme and this leads to large amounts of campers signing up for their favorite weeks. These coloring pages were put up on social for parents to use at home after camp with their kids, but campers were also allowed to color them in their downtime while at camp.
