We work with 10+ different divisions of Amazon, each with their own set of brand guidelines essentially operating separately under the overarching Amazon name. The creative varies significantly across many divisions - books, publishing, music, fire tablets, scientific findings and educating the community, etc.
Below, you’ll see some highlights of the social work that we have done for them. These run across platforms depending on the division - Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, GoodReads, TikTok, and Google display.
Creative direction from Gupta Media Design Team Lead, Amanda Sousa Bauhan and Creative Director, Jen Perry.
Amazon Publishing
I’ve worked with Amazon Publishing for about a year and a half now, and have worked with their authors to build their individual branding. That’s what’s so unique about working with Amazon Publishing, despite them running the ads, the branding differs greatly from author to author to match their style and genre, rather than the brand itself. Authors that we’ve worked with over the last year: Colleen Hoover, Gregg Olsen, Carolyn Brown, Charlie Holmberg, Catherine Bybee, Rhys Bowen, and many many more.
Amazon Music
Amazon Music came to us looking for Gen Z targeted creative for their genre playlists surrounding the second season of their hit show, The Summer I Turned Pretty. The goal with these playlist cover and ads, was to take themes from the show and incorporate them in a a way to engage with a younger audience.
Amazon Books
Amazon Books has a lot of subsections underneath it that all fall under the Books category. We have a lot of flexibility in illustration styles and color palettes, which keep the creative fresh and allows us to have a lot more creative license for such a large brand.
Amazon Science
Amazon Science is a division of Amazon that works on recruiting scientists to the Amazon team in a boarder sense, to work on many of their different explorations in tech. This varies significantly on their research programs, but Amazon Science is also responsible for promoting and celebrating scientists for their research and accomplishments. A lot of the work that we did for them was around visualizing these research projects and making them digestible as social content.
